Friendship. A person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard.

I had the chance to witness the most beautiful, perfect friendship between Miss {G} and Oreo. You could tell that each of them depended on their friendship just as much as the other. 

Miss {G} was put to the test of needing to be a strong young lady early on in life; she lost her father when she was only 7 years old. Naturally, this was an extremely rough time for {G} and her mother. Someone along the way mentioned to {G}'s mother that animals can often help in the therapeutic process of grieving. A horse was just what {G} needed to have that sense of enjoyment and assurance every young girl needs.

Along came Oreo...

Oreo has been there as {G}'s companion through thick and thin. Oreo has truly brought happiness into {G}'s life and has gotten her through what is most likely the hardest time of her life. Oreo continues to be the ultimate definition of friendship for {G}. Oreo is once again supporting {G} though another rough time; he is currently helping {G} cope with her ill grandmother...

But, friendship is the feeling between two people. Well, it just so happens that Oreo needs {G} too. I was able to witness Oreo's face light up when {G} and her mother arrived at the stables. You can see that Oreo feels a sense of pride and determination as they practice together to accomplish their goals.

The relationship between {G} and Oreo, exhibits what a true friendship is: closeness, harmony, and complete understanding.
