This handsome boy turned 7 years old. I knew that I wanted a location that was out in the open, where my little guy could roam. I had driven by this location a dozen of times and always wondered how I could use it. I knew we were running low on time and we wouldn't have much light if we didn't find a spot quickly. I kept looking in the direction of the light and then this spot popped in my mind. I LOVE this spot. The light was so creamy and golden, and the sunset kept changing colors. The light would highlight different parts of the landscapes throughout the shoot. It really was the perfect spot for this little guy's 7 year old Surprise, AZ. session!

When I was finished editing this session, it finally clicked in my mind who he reminded me of...

he was a total mini James Dean!

Love this little man with all of my heart!
